Community Action Derby, Derby City Council, Derby Homes, the University of Derby, Thrive Derby and linking into Derby COVID-19 Mutual Aid Facebook group have created the Derby COVID Community Response Hub to to coordinate help and support for people who live alone or who are self-isolating with partners or relatives during this national crisis.
Through the hub, they are assisting those who fall into the Government’s ‘vulnerable’ Shield and Protect category and are therefore self-isolating, although they are prioritising those with no family, friends or neighbours who can help them.
Those who need support can call Derby Direct on 01332 640000. Please remember this offer of support is for our most vulnerable residents. The line will open between 08:00 and 20:00, every day.
