What is medication alignment?
Medication alignment helps organise your regular repeat medicines so they all run out at the same time. This means you only need to order your repeat medicines once each month.
This can be helpful if:
- you currently order medicines at different times
- new medicines have been added during the month
- you frequently run out of medication
- you find repeat ordering confusing

Before completing the form, please:
- gather all of your regular medicines together
- check how much of each medication you currently have remaining
Please note:
Some medicines cannot usually be aligned, including:
- inhalers
- creams/ointments
- diabetic testing supplies
- dressings/appliances
- warfarin
- medicines taken only when required
Patients who pay for prescriptions may receive a smaller quantity of medication initially in order to synchronise future prescriptions.
