Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
View your results online (recommended)
Once a doctor has reviewed your results, you can view them online:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Systmonline account
Request your results
If you are unable to access your results online, you can request them using our automated telephone system. This service is available 24 hours a day.

Your request will usually be processed within 3 working days.

You can also request your results using our online form.
Please allow up to 5 working days for processing.
Important information
Our patient coordinators are not clinically trained and can only provide limited information about your results.
If you have questions about your results, you may need to speak with a clinician.
If your tests were requested by another service (such as a hospital or clinic), we may not have access to the results.
Please contact the service that requested the test directly.
Confidentiality
We will only release test results to the patient they relate to, unless:
- Prior permission has been given, or
- The patient does not have capacity to understand the results
