Patient Participation Group

What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff.

Its role is to act as a representative group that can be called upon to influence the local provision of health and social care.

To carry out its role it should contain members of all age groups and ethnicity.
