How to book an Appointment

We offer a variety of clinical appointments to book. For appointments with Doctors, Clinical Pharmacists and (advanced) Nurse Practitioners, you can book some routine appointments up in advance depending on availability. Alternatively you can call in the morning on your preferred day from 08:00 for a same day appointment.
Please be prepared to give the Patient Coordinator your name, address and date of birth to ensure your identity. It is important that we follow guidelines and confirm we have the correct patient to avoid confusion or potential medical issues and we know that you will understand the importance. They will also ask you some COVID related questions. This is to keep everybody safe.
In the case of an emergency, when all of our on the day appointments have been booked, you may wish to consider a call back with our On Call Triage Service. Our Housebound patients who require a home visit will also need a call back before the Clinician can visit (see Home Visit Policy)

If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, you can cancel an appointment online please inform us at least 24 hours in advance so that your appointment may be offered to someone else.
Cancelling Appointments by Text
Text your Name, Date of Birth, Date and Time of Appointment to 07842190117. Please text us at least two working hours prior to your appointment time.
Horizon Healthcare City Site offers an appointment only Bloods Clinic every Wednesday morning. Please call (01332) 737777 to book an appointment or on our website or NHS App. Alternatively, there are several sites in the local area that run Phlebotomy clinics. For specialist clinics, suitable for children and people with learning disabilities, please contact the hospital.
